Client Spotlight: Cancer Free Economy Network

We specialize in supporting non-profits looking to make an impact in their communities. They supply the mission, and we help them with the message!

Here’s the thing: we love what we do, and we love who we do it with. That’s why it’s important to us to highlight our clients in our Client Spotlight blog series

This February, we want you to meet the Cancer Free Economy Network, an organization working to promote healthy environments free of toxic chemicals that cause cancer.

Their Mission

The Cancer Free Economy (CFE) has built a vast network to raise awareness about the toxic chemicals in our environment that infiltrate where we live, learn, work, and play.

CFE wants to create systemic change and help prevent cancer because they believe everyone’s health matters. Through a holistic approach, they engage new voices and strengthen existing movements.

National Cancer Prevention Month

February is National Cancer Prevention Month and CFE is taking this time to focus on what we can do — as a society, in our communities, and as individuals — to take action and prevent cancer.

Their #MOVE4CancerPrevention event is an easy and fun moveathon that you can participate in through any activity, whether it’s running, biking, kayaking, coloring, reading, or more! CFE’s goal is to collectively travel 400 miles and raise $40,000 for cancer prevention in the 4 weeks of February.

Why? Because we need real systems change to make our environment healthier & safer.

In support of this effort, WHIP started our very own #MOVE4CancerPrevention team to raise $250 and run 40 miles throughout February. Want to join us in the fight to remove cancer-causing chemicals from the places we live, learn, work and play?

Donate to this WHIP fundraising page or sign up on your own and get moving throughout the month of February 👟!
